Favorite Menu Options at the Colombia Restaurant in Sarasota

If you come here in the evening, we recommend trying one of the family favorites. Start your meal with a hearty and veg-filled soup, like the Cuban Black Bean Soup with a bed of white rice, Spanish onions, and other vegan-friendly ingredients. Or you can try a salad to keep your health click going during vacation. Colombia’s Original 1905 Salad is a huge hit, featuring natural Swiss cheese, iceberg lettuce, grated Romano cheese, garlic dressing, olives, tomato, and baked ham.

You can also get the Champinones Rellenos, which are baked mushrooms stuffed with spinach, artichoke hearts, and Romano cheese. Other dishes that are perfect for sharing are the Ybor City Deviled Crab Croquettes with cooked blue crab meat, empanadas with spicy ground beef, and Queso Fundido with Cuban bread points.

If you would rather have a traditional Cuban dish all to yourself, don’t worry — there is a huge selection! We recommend the El Combo de Cuba with freshly roasted pork, the Chicken And Yellow Rice ‘Ybor’ with baked chicken and yellow rice, or the Palomilla with a marinated top sirloin steak with plantains.
